The Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority seeks views on strategy and action plan

The Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority regularly organises events to offer benefit from the National Park to a wider range of people. For example, recently Powys Carers joined forces with the National Park Authority to support a fun day out for Young Carers from across South Powys. The youngsters took part in a variety of autumn and halloween themed activities while letting off steam in Craig y Nos Country Park  near Ystradgynlais. The activity was supported by the Authority’s Community Champions  project- part funded by Natural Resources Wales.  More details can be found in in the draft Social Inclusion and Child Poverty Strategy and Action plan on the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority website (www.beacons-npa.gov.uk/communities ) and we welcome your views –
particularly on the following four areas

1. Are the four areas of Strategy focus appropriate? Are there any other major areas of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority activity which you feel need a focus on inclusion?

2. Are the outcomes (the results we expect from the actions) appropriate and achievable?

3. Has your organisation or group taken part in any of the activities mentioned in the Action Plan? Do you have any feedback?

4. Do you have any partnership proposals for us which could benefit excluded groups and individuals?
