The Public Inquiry was called after an enforcement appeal was lodged by the owners of Gilestone Farm to the Planning Inspectorate for Wales. Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority has served numerous enforcement notices on the owners of Gilestone caravan and campsite requiring the removal of the entertainment marquees and the cessation of storage of caravans which were not authorised by the original planning consent granted in 2005.
Now, the Planning Inspectorate for Wales has informed Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority that the Inquiry has been deferred in order to await the outcome of a Judicial Review which will consider the validity of the planning permission at Gilestone Farm.
The Judicial Review hearing has been listed for the week commencing 19th October 2009 at the Administrative Court in Cardiff.
