The Chair of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority has paid tribute to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II following the announcement of her death.
“We are profoundly saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and extend our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family for their great loss,” said Canon Aled Edwards. “The Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority is thankful for her seventy years of dedication and service to the nation. Alongside many other communities in Wales and around the world, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time. The Queen was greatly respected by the people of the Bannau Brycheiniog as well as across the UK and abroad, and will be sadly missed. It is with great sadness we will now join the rest of the UK in mourning the end of her remarkable life and reign.”
