The LDP was adopted by the National Park Authority on 17th December 2013 and on that date became the planning policy document or the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
It sets out key policies and land use allocations that will shape the future of the National Park area and guide development up to 2022.
The LDP replaces the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority Approved Unitary Development Plan (2007) and the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Adopted Local Plan (1999). As such, all planning applications will now be determined against the LDP.
Copies of the Adopted Local Development Plan, The Sustainability Appraisal Report (incorporating the environmental report), The Inspector’s Report, The Inspector’s Report (Welsh Version), The Adoption Statement and The Notice of Adoption (published in local and national press on 26th December 2013) are available for public inspection during normal office opening hours at the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority HQ and at all public libraries and Authority centres within the National Park Area.
