Annual Leave entitlements are exclusive of Public Holidays and Statutory Days. All employees are entitled to 8 bank holidays and 2 extra statutory days (Pro-rata for Part –Time employees).

Pension Scheme
The Local Government Superannuation Scheme is a public service pension scheme for council employees. Although membership is not compulsory, it is widely considered to offer an excellent range of guaranteed benefits.

Pay Increments
Progression through the grade is by annual increments payable on the 1st April each year until the maximum of the grade is reached. Progression is not automatic and is determined through assessment of your work performance and any other business considerations.

The Authority provides free access to a professional, accessible and confidential service for staff experiencing emotional, psychological or practical problems.
Society of National Park Staff (SNPS)
The Authority organizes social activities each year which includes inter-park quizzes, day excursions to other parks, weekend activities and trips abroad to areas of interest to the Parks work.
The Authority also organizes family events such as staff BBQ’s and other events.
