The fun begins at 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 31st with a tour, an introduction to bat monitoring and finally some spooky storytelling led by a guide from Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority’s education department. Afterwards delicious food will be available from the new autumn menu at the on-site Changing Seasons Tea Rooms to warm you up from your bat hunt adventure in the Country Park.
Mrs Carys Howell, Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority’s Member Champion for Visitor Centres, said: “Although Craig-y-nos Country Park is a scenic and tranquil place to be in the day time, it can be quite eerie when darkness falls – which will make for great fun on the Bat Hunt & Burger night this Halloween.”
The Bat Tour on October 31st is priced at just £3.50. Visitors can enjoy the Bat Tour and Supper of hot chocolate, burger, fries and ice cream with ‘trick or treat’ toppings for only £8.95. Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Call the Changing Seasons Tea Rooms on 01639 731498.
