The free event is open to everyone and will be held at the Theatr Brycheiniog in Brecon on Wednesday 23rd March from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. It aims to encourage new relationships between cycling and mountain biking businesses and accommodation operators where local businessmen and women will spend a few minutes with prospective clients trying to get a better understanding of the cycling and mountain biking offered in the area and maybe even find their perfect business partnership. More than 12 bike hire providers, mountain bike and cycling guides, bike shops and tour operators offering cycling holiday have already signed up to attend the special event.
It is part of the COLLABOR8 Project which is part funded by Interreg IVB NWE, which helps fund and develop tourism projects using a partnership approach which aims to bring together business and community groups.
Carol Williams, Tourism Growth Officer for Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority said: “This free event offers businesses the perfect opportunity to build those valuable relationships which will promote local businesses and offer our visitors something special. It’s open to the public and we hope that as many people as possible turn up to see what’s available in your area.
“Not only will they receive up-to-date information about services offered which can be passed onto guests and share with other tourism business but it’s also an opportunity to meet people face-to-face and know more about the businesses you are dealing with. There’s also an opportunity to find out more about the SusTrans cycling routes and the Visit Wales Welcome Scheme, as well as the chance to purchase popular MTB and Cycling Packs.”
The event will take place on Wednesday 23rd March from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at the Theatr Brycheiniog in Brecon.
