Local Development Plan – Annual Monitoring Report
Section 76 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 will require local planning authorities to monitor how their adopted Local Development Plans (LDPs) are implemented, by preparing an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) which will be submitted to WG by the end of October each year
The Annual Monitoring Report is required to include:
- Review of changes in national and regional policies and guidelines and their implications for the Local Development Plan.
- Findings of the performance of the Local Development Plan against the Local Development Plan Monitoring Framework (Chapter 11), which includes Statutory Indicators.
- Details of the monitoring of the Strategic Environmental Assessment based on the Monitoring Framework SA / SEA
- Recommendations for action in relation to Local Development Plan Strategy and Policy .

As the Bannau Brycheiniog Local Development Plan was not adopted until December, the first Annual Monitoring Report was submitted October 2015 and covers the period from December 13th 2013 to 31st March 2015
